Presscon to announce Heroes Day rally by labor, church groups
What: Presscon for Heroes Day rally

Where: Merced Bakeshop along EDSA, near Quezon Ave.
Representatives of different labor and church groups will announce a big rally on Heroes Day to demand a stop to policies of the Duterte administration that are inimical to workers and the poor such as TRAIN and the war on drugs; and to call for the fulfillment of promises such as the end to labor contractualization and regionalization of wages.
Some of the groups joining forces for the Heroes Day rally are Partido Manggagawa, FFW, KMU, Church-Labor Conference, Church People-Workers Solidarity, Urban Missionaries and the Archdiocesan Ministry for Labor Concerns.
The labor and church groups will march on August 27 from different points along Espana towards Mendiola.
