WHITE FRIDAY PROTEST RESUMES, PETITION FOR TRANSPARENT ICI PROBE LAUNCHED

 

Interfaith clergies, youth alliances, labor unions and social movements, anti-corruption groups and advocates of good governance behind the Trillion Peso March Movement (TPMM), resumed their White Friday Protest and Noise Barrage against corruption today, held at several sites in Metro Manila and in some areas in the Visayas such as Cebu, Bacolod, and Iloilo. Protest sites and schedules are listed below:

An online petition and signature drive demanding full transparency to the ongoing ICI probe has also been launched alongside the protest actions today – all are part of build-up activities leading to November 30. The TPMM has already applied for a rally permit for a Bonifacio Day action around Edsa Shrine. ###
