NCR WAGE BOARD MULING KAKALAMPAGIN SA ISYU NG WAGE HIKE

Members of the Kapatiran ng mga Unyon at Samahang Manggagawa or Kapatiran, together with members of Partido Manggagawa (PM), will press the NCR Regional Wage Board anew for the long-delayed conduct of public hearings and resolution for the P100 wage petition the group has filed since December last year.
“Kakalampagin naming muli ang NCR Wage Board dahil sa kabagalang aksyon at kawalang pakiramdam,” said Kapatiran President Rey Almendras. Kapatiran said that aside from the prevailing high inflation rate, the recent P2-3/kg increases in the prices of rice alone eroded wages further by another P71 – P106 per month.
The action comes right after the press conference in Manila of the All-Philippine Trade Unions announcing the joint Labor Day actions to demand SAHOD, TRABAHO, and KARAPATAN! ###
