Workers rally
vs chacha at Senate on Tuesday
Building on
two previous demonstrations at the Senate, a bigger contingent of workers will return
on February 13 (Tuesday) morning to express their opposition to charter change.
The protest coincides with a hearing on the controversial people’s initiative.
The rally
is also a follow up to the successful unity ride against chacha today.
Workers are
calling on the Senate to pass the proposed P100 wage hike and other pro-labor
and pro-people bills instead of acting on the Resolution of Both Houses.
